Construction

This series of capacitors has been designed for single phase A .C. motors where high starting torque and small dimensions are required.

The winding is housed in an aluminum case, sealed with a rubber coated Bakelite lid. A special vent is situated in the Bakelite which will break open in case of internal over pressure thus preventing explosion. The aluminum case is inserted in to a plastic sleeve in order to insulate the capacitor’s body to prevent any short circuit. The capacitors are normally supplied with soldering terminals. Other types can be supplied on request.
