SERIES 1.P

Applications

This series of capacitors have been designed for A.C. applications where reduced dimensions, high reliability and low cost is required.
In general they are used for the following applications:-

· Running capacitors for single phase motors.
· Running capacitors for three phase motor working as single phase.
· Power factor correction of small loads, e.g. gas discharge lamps, small single phase welding equipments, etc.

Construction

The capacitors are housed in plastic cans with plastic covers. The material used to fill and fix the capacitor into the can is a thermosetting resin having high stability at high temperatures. The capacitors can be

supplied with or without mounting stud, with double terminals 6.3 mm, single terminals 6.3 mm, mini terminals, 2.8 mm or a two core cable or two single core cables. The capacitors having cables are also filled and sealed with thermosetting resin, without plastic cover.

Protection Grade

IP 00 for types with terminals.
IP 55 for types with cables.
